Requirements
• Majors: Marketing/Advertising/Engineering/Finance/Math
• Strong interest in Internet Marketing & Analytics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent quantitative skills
• Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
• Strong computer and Internet skills – Deep understanding of Excel is a strong plus
• Search Marketing experience/knowledge is preferred but is not required
• Understanding of HTML and javascript is a strong plus
Job Description – Search Marketing Sales Intern
Candidate will support the search engine marketing initiatives, primarily in paid search marketing.
Duties to include:
• Learn and understand search team operations, processes and platform
• Learn and understand search engines and local search marketing
• Assist in building and delivering proposals
• Assist in account and campaign management and analysis
• Perform keyword research & learn to develop effective ad copy
• Stay abreast of latest search engine techniques and algorithms
Compensation
The internship will commence with a 1 month unpaid period and upon demonstrating a strong work ethic and professional development, the position will be extended to a paid internship. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to understand search marketing and gain professional work experience with a growing company right on Broadway in SoHo, New York. This is not an internship where you will be left alone to do administrative work. You will receive constant training and mentoring from our search team members and will be given important responsibilities to demonstrate & flex your abilities. It is our hope to guide your growth into becoming a full time member of our team.
Hours and Start Date
Start date ASAP. Must be available at least 3 days per week with a cumulative minimum of 24 hours per week during the school year.
